Industrial salt, by process
Every EG Salt grade is an Egypt Globe Group catalogue SKU: NaCl, moisture, Ca / Mg / SO₄ and sieve tested on every lot at the port laboratory, with the Certificate of Analysis issued before the Bill of Lading.
Chlor-alkali & PVC feedstock
Siwa / Qattara rock salt at ≥ 97.00 % NaCl with naturally low calcium and magnesium, and washed sea salt at 97.5–98 % or double-washed ≥ 99 % NaCl for membrane-cell brine, soda ash and PVC production.
De-icing & road salt
Rock and sea salt graded to EN 16811-1 Grade A / B / C (Type 1 kiln-dried or Type 2 natural moisture), ASTM D632 / AASHTO M-143, BS 3247:2011, SS-EN 16811-1 and GOST 13830, with E535 anti-caking or pre-wetting on request.
Water treatment & softening
Compacted softener pellets and ion-exchange crystal for resin regeneration, plus NSF/ANSI 60 pool and water-treatment grades — free-flowing, screened per lot.
Oil & gas drilling
Fine and medium drilling-mud salt and coarse workover brine grade to API 13B-1 practice, at 1.5 % or kiln-dried moisture for saturated-brine systems.
Leather tanning & textile dyeing
Low-sulphate sea salt (SO₄ ≤ 0.05 %) for reactive-dye fixation and rock salt for hide preservation and tanning — low iron, consistent grain.

Crystalline halite from deposits formed 30+ million years ago, free of marine contaminants. Guaranteed minimum 97.00 % NaCl; natural moisture grades 1.0 % and 1.5 %, kiln-dried to ≤ 0.25 %, ≤ 0.5 % or ≤ 1.0 % (winter) on request. Loads at El Dekheila, Alexandria, Damietta and Ain Sokhna.
North Sinai & Red Sea sea salt
Solar-evaporated in the El-Arish / Bardawil pans and at Ain Sokhna in three processing tiers — raw 94–97 % NaCl, washed 97.5–98 % and double-washed ≥ 99 % — screened per lot. Loads at Al-Arish, Port Said East, Damietta and Ain Sokhna.
Verified before it ships
Port-laboratory analysis on every lot (ISO 2481 NaCl, ISO 2483 moisture, ISO 2479 insolubles, sieve); independent pre-shipment inspection by TÜV Austria, SGS, Intertek or Bureau Veritas on request; a lot outside specification is rejected at the loading port, never re-graded.
